Ft. Hood Photo & Explanation

I sent my step-brother at West Point this picture of Geo. W. and Laura visiting the wounded at Fort Hood, TX.. I got this reply:

What is even better is the fact George and Laura Bush heard about Fort Hood, got in their car without any escort (apparently they did not have time to react) and drove to Fort Hood. They were stopped at the gate and the guard could not believe who he had just stopped. Bush only asked for directions to the hospital then drove on. The gate guard called that "The president is on base and driving to the hospital." The base went bananas looking for Obama.

When they found it out it was Bush they immediately offered escort and Bush simply told them to go about their duties and let him visit the wounded and the dependents of the dead.

He and Laura stayed at Fort Hood for over six hours and were finally asked to leave by a message from the White House. Obama flew in two days later and held a "photo” session in a gym and did not even go to the hospital. All this info was picked up from two soldiers who happened to be passing through Fort Hood when it happened.

This Bush/Obama/Ft. Hood story is something that should be sent to every voter in the United States.

What? No news crews and cameras? This is how people with class respond and pay respect to those in uniform.

There are many reasons to be angry with the way George W. Bush chose to run the country. He spent wildly and gave little thought to the regulation of the greed heads that run our nation’s banks, corporations and investment houses.

However your politics run, you can’t deny he kept us safe from those in the world that would kill us and take what we have. Can you say that about the sitting President?
